High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Serge Ibaka (at LAC – $6,500): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. Ibaka was up to 46.2 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 9. Hopefully, this is the start of a new hot streak for him as he did go a little cold in recent games. The minutes are still there and the matchup is good with the way the Clippers looked on Monday. He should get his points and he’ll chip in elsewhere to make him worth your while. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup, good ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (at HOU – $6,300): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. Aminu has been over 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games. His only miss came against the Suns where he didn’t get the minutes to produce. The minutes will be there in this one as they’ll need his versatility against the Rockets. Expect Aminu to deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable. But with the higher salary, he’s not the steal that he once was.

Josh Jackson (at SA – $5,500): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Jackson had 39.8 fantasy points against the Clippers on Monday. He hasn’t been as great as he was last season with all the injuries, but he’s still getting his minutes and chances. And against the Spurs, he’ll have an opportunity to post a strong scoring game because the Spurs defense still isn’t fixed despite their recent success. Diagnosis: Reliable at this salary. I have a good feeling about him on Tuesday.
