High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Vucevic (vs CHI – $8,800): Needs 39.4 fantasy points. Vucevic has been down a bit in his recent games, but the Magic haven’t been competitive, which has limited his minutes. If this game isn’t competitive, it’ll be because the Magic are on the winning side. The matchup is great and Vucevic should return to form with a big game. Diagnosis: As long as it’s somewhat competitive, he’ll deliver.

Deandre Ayton (vs DAL – $7,400): Needs 33.1 fantasy points. Ayton has righted the ship in his recent games, going over 37 fantasy points in two straight. He’s always going to struggle with consistency as a rookie and he did have 45 fantasy points against the Mavericks in his pro debut. The Mavs are on a back-to-back and I’m so down on DeAndre Jordan right now that I could see Ayton giving him the business. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Clint Capela (vs LAL – $9,100): Needs 40.7 fantasy points. Capela has not been great in this recent stretch, failing to go over 30 fantasy points in three straight games. But the matchup is good as the Lakers struggle against the position. Capela does have a high ceiling, we just haven’t seen it as of late. At this salary, he’s probably too costly for you to trust him. Diagnosis: A risk, but also a big reward if he finds his rhythm.
