High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Terrence Ross (vs CHI – $5,500): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. Ross has struggled in his last couple of games, failing to crack 20 fantasy points in both contests. Don’t be too alarmed. The Bulls are bad. Like very very bad. Ross continues to get his shots in Orlando and I trust that they’ll start falling against the Bulls. But a slight risk based on risk performance. Diagnosis: Cold right now, but minutes and shots are there. Trust him against this matchup.

Eric Gordon (vs LAL – $5,100): Needs 21 fantasy points. Gordon started against the Blazers and had 21.2 fantasy points. He’s still the third fiddle, but as a starter, he’s going to play more minutes and the opportunities are still there for him to deliver a big game. He’s also settled into a reasonable salary when you consider the minutes and chances. Diagnosis: Reliable. Has a high ceiling, but hasn’t shown it much this season.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (at HOU – $4,100): Needs 16.9 fantasy points. KCP has been over 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s playing very good right now and there are reports that the Rockets want to trade for him. Which means KCP is going to have a big game to ensure a great return or a poor game to ensure he stays on a better team. He feels like a big boom or bust player on Thursday. Diagnosis: A risk, but also a big reward. His salary won’t kill you.
