FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 13, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Harrison Barnes (at PHO – $5,700): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. Barnes had 31.6 fantasy points against the Hawks on Wednesday. His value is largely tied to his scoring right now, which is an issue, but he should have no problem getting his scoring numbers against the Suns. It’s the Suns. The back-to-back would be more worrying if it wasn’t for that. And Barnes is at a good salary given his usual production. Diagnosis: Love him on Thursday.
Trevor Ariza (vs DAL – $5,400): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. Ariza didn’t play in that back-to-back games against the Spurs, so he should be rested for this one. He’s been over 26 fantasy points in four of his last five games. His minutes are always there and he can do a bit of everything. And hey, this might be his last game as a member of the Suns. So maybe he wants to go out in a big way? Diagnosis: Will get you value at the very least.
Dorian Finney-Smith (at PHO – $4,400): Needs 18.2 fantasy points. Finney-Smith continues to play well coming off the bench. He was over 30 fantasy points against the Hawks on Wednesday. It is a back-to-back for the Mavericks, but they’re facing the Suns. And Finney-Smith is at a low-cost to where he should have no problem delivering. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
