High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs LAC – $8,400): Needs 35.4 fantasy points. Aldridge has been all over the place this season and I don’t have a great read on him. The minutes and opportunities are typically there for him because he remains the second best player on the team. But his rebounding numbers are down and his shot continues to be an issue. The matchup is good. Diagnosis: Reliable, but that’s about it at this point.

Tobias Harris (at SA – $8,000): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. Harris was down to 14.1 fantasy points against the Raptors on Dec. 11. Again, don’t read much into that. He’ll have a bounce-back performance against the Spurs. He’s been a reliable player all season and his scoring will be there against the Spurs defense. He always chips in with rebounds. He had 36.1 fantasy points against the Spurs on Nov. 15. Diagnosis: Expect a strong game out of Harris. Reliable if nothing else.

Kyle Kuzma (at HOU – $7,900): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. Kuzma has been tearing it up as of late, going over 39 fantasy points in five straight games. His salary is climbing, but it’s not high enough to me. He’s giving you bigger games than Aldridge right now at a cheaper price. It almost feels like a trap. But until the trap snaps, keep stealing the cheese. I hope that metaphor landed. Diagnosis: Red hot, reliable, great ceiling.
