MIAMI, FL – MARCH 5: Josh Jackson /

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Lauri Markkanen (at ORL – $6,600): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. Markkanen was down to 22.7 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 10. I don’t know what is up with the Bulls right now. I love Markkanen’s game, but aside from all the off-court issues, the big problem with the Bulls is that they are getting healthy. More minutes for others means fewer minutes and opportunities for everyone else. And that’s a problem. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but a risk due to the Bulls being the Bulls.

Josh Jackson (vs DAL – $5,500): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Jackson was down to 18.3 fantasy points against the Spurs. Don’t be too concerned with that. He was playing well prior to the Spurs game and continues to get the minutes and opportunities to deliver. The Mavericks are on a back-to-back, so maybe they’ll have some tired legs heading into this game. Jackson will bounce back. Diagnosis: Good salary and he’ll deliver in multiple categories.

Richaun Holmes (vs DAL – $4,800): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Holmes has shown a high ceiling, going over 40 fantasy points just two games ago. If nothing else, he’s proven to be fairly reliable in recent weeks. His minutes are all over the place, but he’s making the most of his limited minutes. And if Ayton struggles, you know he can pick up those extra minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
