1. Kane, Son and Alli all score as Spurs put five past Burnley

Tottenham host Burnley in a match that looks like it should only have one result. This weekend that one result will almost certainly come to fruition as Burnley’s struggles continue — especially considering Tottenham’s fantastic midweek result in the Champions League.

Spurs managed a point against Barcelona at the Camp Nou, a result which saw them through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. After their horrendous start to the group stages Mauricio Pochettino’s side pulled off a great escape and will now look for a favorable draw in the second round.

Burnley enjoyed some European soccer this season as they played in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League. However, many think that this early start to their season has contributed to their downturn in form in the league.

Last season the Clarets finished seventh while this year they’re lingering around the relegation zone. Sean Dyche will not be worried yet as he knows his side are capable of putting a run together and edging close to the middle of the table.

In order to do that he’ll need more performances like last weekend, when his side managed a 1-0 win over Brighton. Burnley need to go back to what they do best — defend well and take their chances when they arrive.

That’s what Dyche will be hoping his players can do at the weekend but without the backing of the home support and a tighter pitch to play on this will be a bit of a struggle. Tottenham will also be on a high after their recent run of form and this could be a bit of a demolishing.

Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Heung-min Son will all score this weekend as Spurs put five past a Burnley side that have really struggled away from home this season. The only positive for Clarets fans is that this is not the kind of game they need to be winning.
