High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

John Wall (at BKN – $9,500): Needs 43.5 fantasy points. Wall had 66.5 fantasy points against the Celtics on Dec. 12. He’s been all over the place this season, but he did have 52.25 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 1. He’s a high ceiling guy and the matchup is good. This should be an offensive battle and I trust Wall to put up solid scoring and assist numbers. He’ll also chip in with rebounds and a couple of defensive plays. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a great matchup for him.

Kemba Walker (vs NY – $9,200): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. It’s Kemba against the Knicks. He had 50.5 fantasy points against them on Dec. 9. And he followed that up with 60 fantasy points against the Pistons. When Kemba is cooking, there is little to stop him. And he is cooking right now. Maybe he’s due for a bad game, but it’s the Knicks and the Hornets are at home. Kemba has also been flirting with a triple-double in recent games. Diagnosis: Will get the assists and the scoring. Maybe comes up with the triple-double finally.

Kyle Lowry (at POR – $8,200): Needs 37.6 fantasy points. Lowry has found his shot and that’s been bad news for the rest of the league. The assists have been there for him despite all of his shooting struggles. But now that his shot has come around, he’s been delivering the big games we saw from him earlier this season. It was only a matter of time before he broke through. Diagnosis: Should be back into that reliable with a high ceiling range.
