High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Mason Plumlee (vs OKC – $5,600): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. Plumlee picked up the start against the Grizzlies and finished with 31.5 fantasy points. If he starts again, take him with plenty of confidence. Even if he doesn’t start, I love this matchup for him. He always seems to make an impact against the Thunder. He had 32.4 fantasy points in 21 minutes against them on Nov. 24. If he plays more minutes, expect more production. Diagnosis: Love him on Friday. He’ll deliver.

Cody Zeller (vs NY – $5,400): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Zeller is nothing if not reliable. He had 35.4 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 9. The minutes are always there and he can do a bit of everything. It’s the Knicks, so he should have no problem getting his points and rebounds in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Brook Lopez (at CLE – $5,400): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Lopez was up to 35.5 fantasy points against the Pacers on Dec. 12. His minutes are there right now and he continues to get his scoring while chipping in with rebounds and defense. It’s the Cavaliers, so Lopez should have no problem getting numbers in this one. His minutes might be down if this one gets ugly. Diagnosis: Reliable, but a blowout is in play.
