High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Juancho Hernangomez (vs OKC – $5,700): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Hernangomez was down to 17.5 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Dec. 10, but don’t be too alarmed. The Grizzlies are just a nightmare to play against. Hernangomez had 32.6 fantasy points against the Thunder on Nov. 24. His outside scoring is a big problem for them and I expect the outside scoring to be there without as issue on Friday. Minutes and shots are rarely a problem for him. Diagnosis: Good matchup and ceiling.

Kelly Oubre Jr (at BKN – $5,500): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. Oubre Jr had 26.4 fantasy points against the Celtics on Dec. 12. Prior to that, he had 41.5 fantasy points against the Pacers. He’s inconsistent, but he’s playing very well right now and should get his scoring in this one because defense will be optional. He also chips in with rebounding and defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Joe Harris (vs WAS – $4,500): Needs 18.5 fantasy points. Harris has struggled in recent games, but don’t be too alarmed. He’s due for a big game and the Wizards are a great matchup. The shots are typically there for him and he can do a bit of everything. He’s also at a good salary given the minutes and chances he typically gets. I have a good feeling about him overdelivering on Friday. Diagnosis: A gut feeling, but the matchup is good and Harris never lacks for opportunities.
