High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

John Collins (at BOS – $8,100): Needs 34.2 fantasy points. Collins has played himself into a rhythm and shows no signs of slowing down. He was at 39.9 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Dec. 12. The matchup is tough because the Celtics are playing outstanding right now, but I love Collins’ game and energy. Points and rebounds are almost always there for him, no matter the matchup. Diagnosis: Tough matchup, but he’s fairly reliable and has a high ceiling.

Larry Nance Jr. (vs MIL – $7,000): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. Nance Jr. was up to 43.7 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 12. His salary has jumped in a big way because Thompson is out and Nance Jr is picking up those minutes and opportunities. The minutes and opportunities are not going to change on Friday. Expect his scoring to go up while he continues to get it done with his rebounding and scoring. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Serge Ibaka (at POR – $6,800): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. Ibaka has been over 43 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s one of the more streaky players in the league, but he’s hot right now, so keep riding out this hot streak until he goes wrong. He’s been mostly reliable this season, but he typically crashes hard. The matchup is good. Diagnosis: Hot and a good matchup. Raptors are on their third game in four nights, which is a bit concerning.
