4. Back the Bears -6 vs. the Packers

We’ve been waiting all season for Aaron Rodgers to wake Green Bay up from their peaceful slumber. At this point, it’s pretty obvious it’s not happening for the Packers in 2018. Don’t expect Mike McCarthy’s dismissal to be the moment that galvanizes this team.

The Bears, on the other hand, are enjoying a great season under Matt Nagy. They come into this game at 9-4. Perhaps coincidentally, that’s also Chicago’s record against the spread this season.

Perhaps we’d feel differently if this game was being held at Lambeau, but the fact that it’s at Soldier Field really makes it feel like a convincing win for the Bears. Look for Mitchell Trubisky and company to get off to a really hot start. If they can grab an early lead, it’s going to turn Khalil Mack loose to chase Aaron Rodgers all game long.

It’s pretty safe to assume there will be plenty of points scored in this game. Ordinarily, we’d be inclined to bet on Rodgers to outscore Trubisky. Things just aren’t normal in the NFC North this season though. Give the nod to the team that’s played better all season. That means you take the Bears here and give the Packers 6.
