High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Ben Simmons (at CLE – $9,800): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. Simmons had 40.8 fantasy points against the Pacers on Dec. 14. The matchup is much better on Sunday. There is concern that this will be a blowout, but the Sixers are going through some things right now and maybe Cleveland will be able to do enough to keep it competitive. As long as Butler is out once again, Simmons will have no problem getting good numbers even in potentially limited minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable. A blowout is the only concern.

Spencer Dinwiddie (vs ATL – $7,000): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Dinwiddie followed up his 47.9 fantasy point game against the Sixers with 39.8 And now he gets the Hawks. He’s red hot right now and shows no signs of slowing down. His salary has jumped, but not quite high enough to what he is giving you on the court. The scoring and assists will be there. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Lonzo Ball (at WAS – $6,900): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. Ball had 59 fantasy points against the Hornets on Saturday. He did a little bit of everything and picked up a triple-double. He played very well against the Wizards last season, averaging 34.6 fantasy points in two games. He’s also been solid in this recent stretch. Just feels like a game where he makes a lot of plays against a weak defense and inconsistent offense. Diagnosis: Great matchup and should deliver well-rounded numbers.
