Players costing $6,667 or under

JJ Redick (at CLE – $5,600): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. Redick had 28.5 fantasy points against the Pacers on Dec. 14. It’s been awhile since I’ve gone with Redick, but the matchup is great on Sunday and you more or less know what you’re going to get from him. The shots will be there, it’s just a matter of him knocking them down. Given the opponent, he should have no issue getting his scoring numbers in this one. Diagnosis: Possible blowout, but he’ll get buckets.

Monte Morris (vs TOR – $5,200): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. Morris has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games. I continue to love his overall game as he does a bit of everything and is playing a big role with all the injuries to the Denver guards. The matchup is tough, but the circumstances are good and he still remains at a good salary compared to the production he’s giving you. Diagnosis: Red hot and well-rounded. No reason to doubt him.

Kevin Huerter (at BKN – $4,600): Needs 19 fantasy points. Huerter was up to 32.9 fantasy points against the Celtics on Dec. 14. He’s getting more opportunities as a rookie and with Trae Young’s game being all over the place, Huerter is doing his best to step up. The minutes and shots are there, which is a good sign for his value. The matchup is a good one as well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
