Players costing $6,667 or under

Nemanja Bjelica (at DAL – $5,200): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Bjelica’s role has been reduced since Bogdanovic has returned to the lineup. But with Marvin Bagley III out for extended time, I expect Bjelica’s minutes and opportunities to tick up. The Mavericks are a good matchup as their defense is inconsistent. He’s a guy who can do everything and he’s shooting extremely well right now. Diagnosis: Good circumstances and reliable at this salary.

Jeff Green (vs LAL – $5,100): Needs 21.1 fantasy points. Jeff Green is Jeff Green. That’s typically not a good thing. He did had 43 fantasy points against the Celtics on Dec. 12, so that’s good. But he’s still Jeff Green. I like him on Sunday because the Wizards are going to be shorthanded and he should play plenty of minutes. Will that translate to numbers? Who knows. But it’s Jeff Green. Diagnosis: A gut feeling pick. But the circumstances and matchup are good.

Joe Harris (vs ATL – $4,500): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. Harris had 35.4 fantasy points against the Wizards on Dec. 14. It was only a matter of time before Harris had a big game given his talent and the minutes he gets. He had a big chance to follow up as the Nets take on the Hawks. I still like Harris’ game overall and think he’s in for another good night on Sunday. Diagnosis: Low-cost, reliable, good matchup.
