Wide Receivers: Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers- $8,500

Big money is being spent at the receiver position, but there is a ton of upside with each of the following players.

Adams is fifth in the league with 92 receptions and tied with the most touchdowns (12) amongst the position group. In addition, he has compiled 1,196 yards, seventh most in the NFL. It is evident that Adams is Rodgers’ favorite target.

Last week, Adams caught seven passes for 81 yards and one touchdown. He finished the game with 17.6 fantasy points. Adams has scored a touchdown in three straight games. Adams has scored a touchdown in every single game, but three. In every single game this year, he has tallied double-digit fantasy points.

This week, Adams and the Packers take on the Chicago Bears. In their first meeting back in September, Adams caught five passes for 88 yards and a score. These two teams are on different ends of the spectrum, but Rodgers will do whatever it takes to get Adams the ball.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers- $7,800

One receiver who has been just as dominant as Adams is Smith-Schuster. He trails Adams by just one reception. The two wideouts are two of five receivers who have at least 90 receptions. Smith-Schuster led the Steelers with eight receptions for 130 yards and two scores in last week’s loss against the Raiders.

He finished the afternoon with 29 fantasy points, second amongst the position group. Smith-Schuster has eclipsed 100-plus yards in three of his last four games. In those games, he had at least eight receptions.

The Steelers take on the Patriots in a pivotal matchup. New England has surrendered 168 receptions, 2,096 yards and 15 touchdowns to opposing wideouts. On average, the position is scoring 30 fantasy points per game.

Last week, the Patriots allowed Kenny Stills to compile a season-high eight receptions, 135 yards and one touchdown. All eyes and attention seem to gravitate towards Antonio Brown, which will open things up for Smith-Schuster.

Julian Edelman, New England Patriots- $7,200

The final receiver out of the bunch will be playing against Smith-Schuster and that’s Edelman. With Tom Brady as Week 15’s quarterback, we needed to have one of his top targets.

Despite missing the first five weeks of the season, Edelman still has 56 receptions for 621 yards and four touchdowns. Even with the absence, the wideout is second on the team in receptions, targets and touchdowns.

Edelman caught nine passes for 86 yards and one touchdown in last week’s loss to the Miami Dolphins. He has scored a touchdown in two of his last three games. Edelman has finished with at least 10 fantasy points in seven of the nine games he has played in.

The Steelers’ defense against receivers is similar to that of the Patriots. They have given up 168 receptions, 2,096 yards and 15 touchdowns. In total, the position group has scored 389.7 fantasy points.

When in doubt, Brady looks for Edelman to bail him out. Expect the veteran to be targeted a ton and help move the chains in a must-win game for the Patriots.
