High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (vs CHI – $11,200): Needs 51.4 fantasy points. Westbrook still can’t score the basketball, but he’s coming up with at 50 fantasy points points in each game. The lid will come off the basket for him at some point. The Bulls at home feels like a good time for him to rediscover his shot. The rebounds and assists will be there. And you know Russ and the Thunder are upset after dropping a game to Chicago the other week. Diagnosis: Angry Russ and a Russ waiting to explode. Expect a monster game from him on Monday.

Ben Simmons (at SA – $8,900): Needs 40.9 fantasy points. Butler returned to the lineup on Sunday, but Simmons still finished with 63.25 fantasy points against the Cavaliers. Butler being back limits his ceiling a bit, but he’s still the primary ball handler on the team. The Spurs are a good matchup and Simmons will get his numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Devin Booker (at NY – $8,500): Needs 38.7 fantasy points. Booker returned to the lineup on Dec. 15 and picked up 47.75 fantasy points against the Timberwolves. Injuries have made him inconsistent this season, but when he’s in the lineup, he’s doing a bit of everything. And now he gets the Knicks. And the Knicks on a back-to-back. Booker should carve them up with ease. Diagnosis: Love him on Monday. He should deliver big.
