DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 17, 2018
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Emmanuel Mudiay (vs PHO – $6,200): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. Mudiay had 29.75 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Pacers on Sunday. The matchup was tough and will be easier on Monday, but they’re also on a back-to-back and are still the Knicks. The minutes and opportunities are there for Mudiay, which is at least something. The Suns have looked better, but they’re still the Suns. Mudiay should be able to put up solid enough numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Jeff Teague (vs SAC – $6,100): Needs 28 fantasy points. Teague is still getting good minutes, but he’s taken a backseat in the offense to the better players. The Kings are a good matchup as they struggle against opposing point guards. The assists are there, which is a good sign, but his scoring is way down and he’s not chipping in defensively. Diagnosis: Reliable if nothing else.
Reggie Jackson (vs MIL – $5,200): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Jackson has struggled in the last two games and his minutes are down. It’s a bit concerning, but this is a proven matchup for him. He had 33.25 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 5 and the Bucks struggle against opposing guards. The shots are still there, he just needs to find the bottom of the bucket. Diagnosis: Good salary and proven matchup. Slight risk based on recent play.
