FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 17, 2018
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Emmanuel Mudiay (vs PHO – $6,300): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. Mudiay was at 29.2 fantasy points against the Pacers on Sunday. Good numbers given that the Pacers are a tough matchup. The Suns are a much easier matchup, but the Knicks are on a back-to-back, so call it a wash. Minutes and opportunities are not an issue for Mudiay, but I still have a hard time fully trusting him because ehe’s Emmanuel Mudiay. Diagnosis: High ceiling and great matchup.
Derrick Rose (vs SAC – $6,100): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. I’m still not sure how Rose is so much cheaper than Tague, but as long as that’s the case, keep taking him. He had 31.7 fantasy points against the Suns on Dec. 15. His assist numbers have been going down, which is an issue, but his scoring is there. The Kings are on a back-to-back, which should help Rose and the Timberwolves. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup, and a good ceiling.
Reggie Jackson (vs MIL – $5,400): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Jackson has struggled in recent games, failing to crack 24 fantasy points in three of his last four. But his salary has dropped to a good spot and this is a good matchup for him. He had 32.9 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 5. The minutes and opportunities are typically there for him, which helps. Diagnosis: Good salary. Trust the matchup.
