High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs UTA – $11,700): Needs 48.2 fantasy points. In James Harden back? He’s certainly looked like in his recent games. But the Rockets have struggled against the Jazz this season and we’ve seen Harden look like himself and then quickly tail off. I don’t have a great read on either team right now, but I know Harden won’t be lacking for shots or DFS opportunities. Because of that, he’s always a strong option. Diagnosis: It’s James Harden. He has a high ceiling and can go off at any moment. Matchup is tough.

Devin Booker (at NY – $8,400): Needs 34.6 fantasy points. Booker returned to the lineup on Dec. 15 against the Timberwolves and finished with 44.9 fantasy points. He didn’t look like he missed a beat and put up solid numbers in all categories. And now he gets the Knicks on a back-to-back. This should be another strong performance by Booker as he gets his scoring and assist numbers while chipping in with rebounds. Diagnosis: Inconsistent this season, but a high ceiling and great matchup.

Donovan Mitchell (at HOU – $7,500): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. Mitchell has been all over the place this season, but we know he has a high ceiling and this is a matchup he does well against. Granted, he didn’t do well against them last time (just 14.2 fantasy points) but it’s tough to imagine him struggling to that extent once again. I expect Mitchell to get his scoring numbers in this one. Diagnosis: High ceiling and very good matchup.
