FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 17, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Montrezl Harrell (vs POR – $6,200): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. After a rough three game stretch, Harrell bounced back with 32.7 fantasy points against the Thunder on Dec. 15. He’s played very well against the Blazers this season, averaging 39.9 fantasy points in two games against them. Even though he’s cool off, this is a proven matchup for him and I expect the minutes to be there. And when the minutes are there, the production typically follows. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.
Dario Saric (vs SAC – $5,300): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. Saric has found his role on the Timberwolves and has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. He drew the start against the Suns and he’s also played over 30 minutes in his last three games. As long as he continues to get over 30 minutes of playing time, I have no doubt about his production. The matchup is good as the Kings are on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Richaun Holmes (at NY – $5,000): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. Holmes was down to 13.8 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Dec. 15. But he played 23 minutes. As long as he’s playing over 20 minutes, I have confidence that he’ll bounce back on Monday. Plus, it’s the Knicks. He should have no issue getting enough points and rebounds to at least be at value in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, and Knicks.
