High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

John Wall (at ATL – $10,400): Needs 44 fantasy points. Wall had 78.2 fantasy points against the Lakers on Dec. 16. You know Wall is going to be in line to put up big numbers, especially if the Wizards are shorthanded again. The only issue is this one potentially being a blowout. But maybe the Wizards defense will keep the Hawks offense in the game. Diagnosis: Needs a big game and the matchup might be a bit too good to deliver. But he’ll get numbers even in limited minutes.

Jamal Murray (vs DAL – $8,100): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. Murray has been over 35 fantasy points in two of his last three games. He’s inconsistent, hitting value in just 52 percent of games this season. But this feels like a big game for Murray. The Mavericks are good at home, but I expect Murray to rack up the points in this one. He’s on the verge of exploding and I think this will be the game he does it. Diagnosis: I have a good feeling about him on Tuesday.

Lonzo Ball (at BKN – $6,800): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. Ball followed up his 59 fantasy point game against the Hornets with 33 fantasy points against the Wizards. He does a little bit of everything but doesn’t post big numbers in one single category, which can sometimes hurt his overall value. But with the way he’s playing right now, there’s no reason to think that he won’t continue to contribute in all areas. Diagnosis: Good matchup and high ceiling.
