Fantasy Football, Week 16: Best lineup with start/sit advice
By Dylan Broady
Jared Cook, Oakland Raiders
FANTASY POINTS: 184
What a season for the tight end position! Jared Cook has greatly benefited from the departure of Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. Jordy Nelson is not a offensive threat anymore either. Cook is the go-to guy for Derek Carr. Usually Cook has a decent bounceback rate after a tough game. Week 15 was one of those weeks. It was suppose to be a great matchup. Cook failed to surpass 30 receiving yards.
Week 16 Oakland will host the Broncos on Monday Night Football. We all know how that Broncos defense has performed this season. We can expect Cook to play a major role for your Championship game. He has paid big dividends all year long. There is no sense on fading him now. Not in your most important game of the season.
Cook only has seven weeks where he failed to hit double-digit points. We will take the 50 percent double-digit rate at a position that is very hard to measure. He has been one of the top tight ends options all year. Cook will ball out for your team this week. Don’t panic and make a bad last-second decision. We all know how those turn out in fantasy football. Stay the course and play Jared Cook.
Prediction: 85 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns
