Denver Broncos WR DaeSean Hamilton

Emmanuel Sanders’s season-ending injury opened up an opportunity for DaeSean Hamilton to be the primary chain-mover in the Denver Broncos offense, and the 23-year-old Penn State product hasn’t disappointed.

Hamilton forms a young wide receiver duo with Courtland Sutton, who is the explosive playmaker in the Broncos passing game. These two wideouts will hope to build Denver’s future offense alongside standout running backs Phillip Lindsay, Royce Freeman, and Devontae Booker.

So far, Hamilton is off to a solid start, and veteran quarterback Case Keenum looked to his slot wide receiver often in a close loss to the Cleveland Browns last week. Hamilton received 12 targets, converting seven of them into receptions. He finished with just 46 receiving yards and has averaged under seven yards per reception over the past two weeks since becoming a key part of the Broncos offense, but fantasy football owners in PPR leagues just care about the receptions.

With back-to-back seven reception performances, including a touchdown grab in Week 14 against the San Francisco 49ers, Hamilton has emerged from out of nowhere to become a valuable commodity in PPR leagues. He’ll get the Oakland Raiders offense next in Week 16, and he could threaten for 10 receptions in this ho-hum Broncos offense.
