25. Sam Darnold (LW: 28)

Darnold was awesome against the Texans on Saturday. Sure, the Jets still lost, but the rookie was making throws from different platforms all evening. If New York can get him some help both on the sideline and in the huddle, Darnold will be a star.

24. Derek Carr (LW: 23)

Carr had been playing much better in recent weeks, but he crumbled under constant pressure in Cincinnati. The Raiders aren’t doing him any favors, although it’s fair to criticize Carr for not making some more plays against the league’s worst defense.

23. Case Keenum (LW: 25)

The Broncos are average. Keenum is average. The result is a 6-8 team that is about to clean house in the coaching ranks. Look for Denver to explore the quarterback market this offseason, with Keenum only signed through 2019.

22. Marcus Mariota (LW: 21)

Mariota threw 20 passes on Sunday in a 17-0 win over the Giants at MetLife Stadium. Those throws accounted for 88 yards. At some juncture, Mariota has to throw the ball for actual yardage. It’s bordering on insanity to look at his stat lines.

21. Eli Manning (LW: 22)

Manning has been better over the past month. Then Sunday happened. New York couldn’t score a point and Manning was erratic throughout. The Giants should let Kyle Lauletta have some run over the next two weeks.
