The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a pretty bad football team right now, and this past weekend, they were terribly flat on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. Quarterback Jameis Winston had one of his worst games of the season, as the Ravens defense really bottled him up, and the jury is still out as to whether or not he is the right guy for the team at quarterback moving forward.

Head coach Dirk Koetter appears to be on his way out, as rumors have circulated that the 2018 season will be his last at the helm of the Buccaneers. He failed to make the playoffs during his time as head coach in Tampa Bay, and it is clear that the rest of the NFC South division is separating themselves from the Bucs at this point.

When it comes time for the Buccaneers to draft next April, they may look to bring in a player who can really help their secondary. Deionte Thompson is the best safety that this draft class has to offer, and playing in a pass-happy NFC South, the Buccaneers have to make bolstering the defensive backfield a priority next offseason.

Tampa Bay does have some talented pieces, and there is still time for Winston to turn a corner in his career. Maybe a new head coach is just what he needs, but remember, Koetter got the job based on his relationship with Winston, so big changes could be coming with this organization once the regular season ends in a couple of weeks.
