FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 20, 2018
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,667
Tobias Harris (vs DAL – $8,200): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. Harris was up to 55.7 fantasy points against the Blazers on Dec. 17. He’s typically reliable and he has a high ceiling with his scoring output. The scoring and rebounding should be there without an issue on Thursday. Diagnosis: Love his overall game and really love this matchup for him.
Montrezl Harrell (vs DAL – $6,800): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. Harrell has been back over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. Maybe he’s back in form after a rough stretch over the past couple of weeks. He had 42.5 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Dec. 2, which should give you confidence heading into this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Kelly Olynyk (vs HOU – $5,800): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. Olynyk was down to 15.7 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 13. He had been playing very well prior to that game, so chalk it up to an off night and expect him to be better. As long as the minutes are there, the production will be there as well. Adebayo is a strong option as well and could run more point with the injuries. Diagnosis: He or Adebayo will have a big game. I’m leaning towards Olynyk due to minutes.
PJ Tucker (at MIA – $4,600): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. Tucker has been excellent during this run for the Rockets. He had 34.2 fantasy points against the Wizards on Wednesday. He’s doing enough with his scoring and rebounding but he’s also chipping in with defense. And when the Rockets are shooting the way they did on Wednesday, he’ll get assists as well. Diagnosis: Red hot and a high ceiling.
