Players costing $6,667 or under

Dewayne Dedmon (at NY – $6,600): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Dedmon had 27 fantasy points against the Wizards on Dec. 18. If you don’t want to spend on Collins, Dedmon is a nice option to fall back on. And he gets the Knicks. He’s been very good alongside Collins. He’ll get his points and rebounds in this game while chipping in with some assists and defense. Diagnosis: Reliable and Knicks.

Cody Zeller (vs DET – $5,300): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Zeller was down to 18.6 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Dec. 19. I’m not too worried about him as he’s been a reliable option throughout this season. He had 23.3 fantasy points against the Pistons on Dec. 12. He should show enough with his scoring and rebounding to at least hit value. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Brook Lopez (at BOS – $4,900): Needs 22 fantasy points. Lopez was down to 17.7 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 19. He has been playing well prior to that game, so I’m willing to chalk it up to an off night and expect better from him on Friday. The matchup is tough, but Lopez has done well with his scoring while chipping in with rebounds during this recent stretch. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
