Players costing $6,667 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at BOS – $5,500): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. Brogdon was up to 34.4 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 19. He’s been a solid player all season and remains at a good salary. This is a big game and role players have a way of chipping in during these big games. Brogdon is the top role player on a good Bucks team as he does a little bit of everything. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Marcus Smart (vs MIL – $5,400): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. Smart continues his strong play as a starter. He’s been over 33 fantasy points in three of his last four games. At some point, his shooting will fall off. But the defense is always going to be there. Much like Brogdon, he’s a role player who can chip in, in a big way. Expect him to have an impact on this game in some fashion. Diagnosis: Good salary and a high ceiling.

Reggie Bullock (at CHA – $5,000): Needs 21 fantasy points. Bullock was up to 41.1 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Dec. 19. He’s inconsistent, but he’s playing well right now and this is his matchup. He had 32.6 fantasy points against the Hornets on Nov. 11 and is averaging 30.3 fantasy points in his last three games against the Hornets. Diagnosis: Proven matchup, high ceiling, good salary.
