High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Eric Gordon (vs SA – $5,900): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. No Chris Paul means more Eric Gordon. He was up to 31.1 fantasy points against the Heat on Dec. 20. And if Harden is tired, Gordon will see even more opportunities. He hasn’t been great this season, but he is typically very good when he’s the second option as opposed to the third. I’ll trust him to step up on Saturday. Diagnosis: Good circumstances and matchup.

Dennis Schroder (at UTA – $5,700): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. Schroder has been under 20 fantasy points in his last three games. But this is his matchup. He had 39.8 fantasy points against the Jazz on Dec. 10. And he’s too good of a scorer to continue to struggle in the same way he’s been struggling. Trust him to bounce back against this matchup, which he has historically done well against. Diagnosis: Ice cold, but a proven matchup. I’ll trust him on Saturday.

JJ Redick (vs TOR – $5,600): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Redick has been down this season as his shooting took an unexpected turn for the worse. But he had 32.2 fantasy points against the Raptors on Dec. 5 and I still like his ceiling. He’s simply too good to keep shooting this same manner. The Raptors are on a back-to-back and could be playing you in their starting lineup. Yes, you. You reading this right now. That’s how banged up the Raptors are. Diagnosis: Reliable.
