FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 22, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Paul George (at UTA – $9,800): Needs 40.7 fantasy points. There’s no reason to doubt George right now. He’s been excellent during this stretch and has put his name in the hat for MVP. His shooting struggles appear to be behind him and even when the scoring isn’t quite there, he’s doing plenty of everything else. Until he shows signs of slowing down, keep riding him. Diagnosis: Red hot, reliable, great ceiling. Take George with confidence right now.
Josh Richardson (vs MIL – $7,300): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. Richardson has been over 34 fantasy points in three straight games. With the injuries to Miami perimeter players, Richardson has had to step up. And he’s been delivering. The Bucks are on a back-to-back, which should help Richardson and the Heat. If Winslow doesn’t play, he’s a very strong option. If Winslow plays, I don’t like him quite as much. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
TJ Warren (at WAS – $7,100): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. Warren continues to play well for the Suns and has been over 30 fantasy points in five straight games. And now he gets the Wizards. The Wizards can’t stop anyone and the Suns are playing very well right now. The scoring should be there for Warren and he’ll chip in with some rebounds and defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling and a great matchup.
