MIAMI, FL – MARCH 5: Josh Jackson /

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Josh Jackson (at WAS – $5,300): Needs 22.6 fantasy points. Jackson has still played fairly well with Booker back in the lineup, but his ceiling has been lowered. He’s getting decent enough minutes and has done a little bit of everything, which helps his value. This one is largely about the matchup as I don’t trust the Wizards for anything right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jerami Grant (at UTA – $5,200): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Grant was up to 27.9 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 19. His value is largely tied to his scoring and he’s not the most reliable scorer, but he gets plenty of minutes and I like the matchup with the Jazz on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Reliable.

PJ Tucker (vs SA – $4,900): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. Tucker continues his strong play for the Rockets and had 25.4 fantasy points against the Heat on Dec. 20. With Paul out of the lineup, his role increases. He won’t handle the ball, but he’ll be involved more in the offense. The Spurs are a good matchup with them being on a back-to-back. Tucker should continue his current run and be over value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
