Players costing $6,250 or under

Justin Holiday (at CLE – $5,400): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. Holiday was up to 30 fantasy points against the Magic on Dec. 21. I continue to love his game and the minutes are there for him. The Cavaliers are a great matchup because they are the Cavaliers. Holiday should be able to do a little big of everything and provide excellent value once again. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and matchup.

Jaylen Brown (vs CHA – $4,700): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Brown was up to 42.25 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 21. He’s been all over the place this season, but I’m hoping that the Bucks game was a confidence booster for him. The good news is that the Hornets are a good matchup and he typically gets solid minutes. I’m going to trust the matchup and how he played in the most recent game. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but high ceiling and good matchup.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at GS – $4,700): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Alexander has been up-and-down in his last four games. He was up against the Nuggets, so if the trend continues, he’ll be down against the Warriors. Expect him to break the trend. He’s the type of guy who will raise his game in these big matchups and his length and athleticism is a big factor against the Warriors. He had 32.75 fantasy points against them on Nov. 12. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
