Players costing over $6,250

LeBron James (vs MEM – $10,900): Needs 50.7 fantasy points. The Grizzlies are a tough matchup, but there’s no reason to doubt LeBron right now. He’s been over 60 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s doing whatever he wants against teams and the Lakers are following suit. His scoring will be needed in this one given the Grizzlies typically defense. Diagnosis: It’s LeBron. Just expect 60+ fantasy points.

Aaron Gordon (vs MIA – $7,000): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. Gordon has been all over the place this season, but he was up to 38.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Dec. 21. Granted, it was the Bulls. While I typically don’t know what to think of him, this is his matchup. He’s been over 50 fantasy points in three straight games against the Heat. Two of those games were this season. And Miami are on a back-to-back. I’m going to trust that he can deliver once again. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but very proven matchup.

Paul George (vs MIN – $9,200): Needs 42.8 fantasy points. Keep taking Paul George. He had 84 fantasy points against the Jazz on Saturday. Maybe he slows down at some point. And being on a back-to-back is always tough. But I see no reason to doubt George right now. He’s been red hot in December and is doing a bit of everything. Until he shows signs of slowing down, keep riding the hot hand. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling and extremely hot.
