Wide Receivers

Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers – $8700

This is the first time this season we are seeing Julio Jones atop DraftKings pricing. Despite leading the NFL in receiving yards Jones has been quiet fantasy-wise. Atlanta’s struggles certainly are not on Jones. This weekend the Falcons play the Panthers in a meaningless game for the playoff standing. Still, Jones should be able to find space against a Panthers secondary that he previously had 64 yards against in Week 2.

DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans at Philadelphia Eagles – $8600

DeAndre Hopkins can take over games at times and it is fun to watch. He did it a week ago against the Jets, even with a banged up ankle. That ankle is something to keep an eye on this week as he does show up on the injury report. If he plays, this could be another week where he takes over. Philadelphia is banged up across their secondary and will not be able to slow Hopkins down.

DeVante Adams, Green Bay Packers at New York Jets – $8500

The most consistent fantasy receiver this season has been DeVante Adams. He may not have had any monster games but he is the only NFL receiver to score better than 15 points in every game. Adams is directly tied to Aaron Rodgers. Luckily, Rodgers playing will keep Adams comfortable against the NFL’s friendliest fantasy defense to opposing receivers.

Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers at New Orleans Saints – $8300

Over the last four weeks, Antonio Brown has seen his teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster rise to the second highest scoring fantasy receiver while he sits at number ten. Brown is still a dynamic weapon who can break a touchdown at any time. However, it’s interesting to see his quarterbacks look more for the second year wideout across from him than Brown’s way. Brown gets a tough matchup with New Orleans and possibly shadowed by Marshon Lattimore. This could be another week where Smith-Schuster outperforms the All-Pro Brown. Keep an eye on the Smith-Schuster status who is questionable for Week 16.

Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints vs Pittsburgh Steelers – $8100

In the same game, Michael Thomas is his teams’ clear-cut top option. Thomas has understandably struggled over the last four weeks ranking 42nd in points at the position. Luckily Pittsburgh is coming to town and their defense giving up the seventh most points to wide receivers. Thomas, at home, against this defense, is in the perfect spot for a monster eight-plus catch performance.

Value Wide Receivers

Alshon Jeffery, Philadelphia Eagles vs Houston Texans – $5300

The entry of Nick Foles into the lineup does wonders for Alshon Jeffery. For whatever reason Carson Wentz just struggled to connect with what Jeffery does best. Foles, the risk taker, is Jeffery’s best friend for this reason. Now with Foles taking over and a Houston secondary that has struggled, Jeffery is a great value play. Houston is the third friendliest defense to opposing receivers over the last four weeks.

Robby Anderson, New York Jets vs Green Bay Packers – $4500

Speaking of a quarterback who’s helped a receiver, the return of Sam Darnold is a blessing for Robby Anderson. The speedster struggled with Josh McCown but appears to be the rookie’s favorite target. He’s been strong of late two with a touchdown and over 75 yards in back-to-back games. They play a Packers defense that ranks ninth in points per game to receivers over the last four weeks. Anderson is a big-play threat but has been a bit more consistent as of late, leading to a strong value play.
