High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Vucevic (vs MIA – $9,000): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. Vucevic continues to deliver and now he gets the Heat on a back-to-back. Miami has a way of making games a slog and limiting teams and I’m not very high on the Magic overall, but Vucevic has been very good this season and shown a high ceiling. He should get his points and rebounds in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jusuf Nurkic (vs DAL – $7,800): Needs 34.8 fantasy points. Nurkic has been over 36 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s doing a bit of everything, but isn’t exactly reliable in any single category. The Mavericks are on a back-to-back and typically aren’t a good road team, which is why I like Nurkic on Sunday. Diagnosis: Reliable and a good matchup.

DeAndre Jordan (at POR – $7,200): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. Jordan has been very good during this losing streak and was up to 55.1 fantasy points against the Warriors on Saturday. He’s getting plenty of rebounds, which is great for his value. And minutes are rarely an issue. I always worry about Jordan and worry about him more on the back-to-back, but he’s at a low salary and is playing well right now. Diagnosis: High ceiling and rebounding has been fantastic. Blazers are missing enough to give him those chances.
