Players costing $6,667 or under

Jarrett Allen (vs PHO – $6,300): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. Allen was down to 21 fantasy points against the Pacers on Dec. 21. But Allen is a high ceiling player and the Suns have to be absolutely gassed against Saturday. Allen should have no issue getting his rebounds and some easy points inside on Sunday. ANd he’ll chip in with a handful of defensive plays. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a high ceiling.

Robin Lopez (at CLE – $3,500): Needs 15.6 fantasy points. Lopez was up to 23.8 fantasy points against the Magic on Dec. 21. He plays decent enough minutes, but isn’t exactly the most reliable option. The matchup is good and I think he’ll get decent minutes against the Cavaliers. If you want to punt and maybe get some value, he’s your guy. Diagnosis: An option.

Ivica Zubac (vs MEM – $3,500): Needs 15.6 fantasy points. Zubac had 40.2 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 21. If he starts, it looks like he’s going to get some solid minutes. So why not? Much like Lopez, there’s no guaranteed he’s going to play big minutes and the Pelicans game was more likely a case of a big game before everyone remembers he’s Ivica Zubac. But hey, if you’re not going to spend at the position, at least try to hit big. Diagnosis: High ceiling but still Ivica Zubac.
