Players costing over $6,667

LeBron James (vs MEM – $11,200): Needs 46.5 fantasy points. The matchup is a tough one for LeBron as the Grizzlies have a way of making good teams look bad with their style of play, but this is LeBron. And it’s LeBron playing exceptionally well right now. They’ll need his scoring and overall ability to find holes in the Memphis defense. And he’ll have a big game as result. Diagnosis: Always trust LeBron, especially against tougher defenses.

Paul George (vs MIN – $9,900): Needs 41.1 fantasy points. The only concern with Paul George is fatigue. He had 83.8 fantasy points against the Jazz on Saturday. He’s been excellent during this month and I’m not going to doubt him right now. It is a back-to-back and maybe he runs out of gas at some point, but until I see it, I won’t believe it. Diagnosis: Trust in Paul George. He hasn’t let you down yet in December.

Kevin Durant (vs LAC – $9,700): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. Durant had 53.4 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Saturday. When the Warriors are healthy, Durant is always a reliable option with a good ceiling. And he typically plays well against the Clippers, even if these aren’t quite the same Clippers. The scoring and rebounding will be there and he’ll chip in with assists. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling.
