Players costing over $6,667

Lauri Markkanen (at CLE – $7,500): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. Markkanen has been over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games, And now he gets the Cavaliers. The scoring numbers should be there without an issue and he’ll chip in with rebounds and assists. The Bulls can be tough to figure out, but with LaVine out of the lineup, he’s Chicago’s best option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Larry Nance Jr (vs CHI – $7,300): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. I continue to love Nance Jr’s game because of the circumstances. Someone has to deliver in this position for the Cavaliers and he’s proven that he can carry the load. Expect him to keep it up given the matchup. Points and rebounds will be there and he’s good for a defensive play or two. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a high ceiling.

Kyle Kuzma (vs MEM – $7,200): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. Kuzma has tailed off a bit from his hot start, but he seems to like this matchup. He had 47.8 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Dec. 8. He’s a reliable scorer on a team that’s goinng to need scoring against the Grizzlies tough defense. And he’s obviously LeBron’s favorite target. The return of Brandon Ingram hurts his value a bit, but he’s at a good salary. Diagnosis: Reliable and a proven matchup.
