Tight End: David Njoku, Cleveland Browns- $5,300

Someway, somehow, the Cleveland Browns are still mathematically alive to make the playoffs. At 6-7-1, the Browns have won more games this season than over the last three years combined. Rookies Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb deserve some credit for their turnaround, but so does  their tight end; Njoku.

The second-year tight end is second on the team with 50 receptions. He has accumulated 504 receiving yards, which is three yards short for second most on the team and has three touchdowns tied for second on the Browns.

To put Njoku’s stats into tight end perspective, he is ninth in receptions amongst the position group. He has more receptions than players like; Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski, Trey Burton and O.J. Howard.

Out of those four tight ends mentioned Njoku is the cheapest option and arguably has the best Week 16 matchup. The Browns take on the Bengals who have struggled against the position.

Cincinnati has surrendered 77 receptions, 901 yards and nine touchdowns to opposing tight ends. They are tied with the Miami Dolphins and the Oakland Raiders for most touchdowns allowed to the position group.

Opposing tight ends are averaging 13.3 fantasy points per game against the Bengals. Cincinnati is one of three teams to give up at least 13 fantasy points per game.

In Week 12 Njoku had a solid game against the Bengals. He caught five passes for 63 yards and one touchdown. That lone score is Njoku’s only touchdown in his last seven games. He finished the game with 14.8 fantasy points, just .2 points shy from his season high.

Similar to Chubb, Njoku will have a great opportunity to end the season strong and it starts with this matchup.
