High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Marcus Morris (vs PHI – $5,900): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. Morris has been up-and-down as the starter, but the minutes are typically there and he does well against the Sixers. He had 34.5 fantasy points against them in just 21 minutes on opening night. With the starters, he has a high ceiling and rarely lacks for opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling and proven matchup.

Noah Vonleh (vs MIL – $5,200): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Vonleh was up to 31.5 fantasy points against the Hawks on Dec. 21. It was the Hawks, so let’s not go too crazy. But Vonleh has shown a high ceiling this season and the minutes are there for him. He had 25.25 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 1 and 22.25 fantasy points in just 19 minutes against them on Oct. 22. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Al Horford (vs PHI – $5,700): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. Horford has been up-and-down in recent contests but was only down against the Hornets due to a lack of minutes. If Aron Baynes is out, Horford figures to see big minutes against Embiid. And he typically does a good job against Embiid. He’s not reliable in a single category but does enough in all categories to boost his value. Diagnosis: Good ceiling.
