High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Russell Westbrook (at HOU – $11,300): Needs 47.6 fantasy points. Westbrook had 50.2 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Dec. 23. He’s been all over the place with his scoring, but the rebounds and assists are typically there. He won’t have to deal with Chris Paul in this game, which should help him. Numbers are rarely an issue for Westbrook, especially in these big matchups. Expect him to post another triple-double and then some. Diagnosis: High ceiling and typically reliable, especially if he’s over his shooting struggles.

Stephen Curry (vs LAL – $9,700): Needs 40.9 fantasy points. Curry had 55.2 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 23. Much like Westbrook, you never have to worry about Curry raising his game in these big matchups. He’s going to relish the opportunity to face the Lakers and LeBron on Christmas. He’ll get his points and chip in the other categories for a solid outing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Eric Bledsoe (at NY – $7,300): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. Bledsoe has been held under 30 fantasy points in three straight games. It’s troubling, but this matchup is too good to pass up on. He’s been over 45 fantasy points in three straight games against the Knicks, including going over 47 fantasy points in both games against the Knicks this season. This is a proven matchup, largely because it’s the Knicks. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a high ceiling.
