High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Eric Gordon (vs OKC – $6,000): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. Gordon has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. With Chris Paul out of the lineup, he remains an outstanding option. Austin Rivers could take some opportunities from him, but I won’t believe it until I see right. Right now, we know Gordon is the second option and we know he can deliver. He’s doing the same in this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

JJ Redick (at BOS – $5,600): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Redick was up to 33.1 fantasy points against the Raptors on Dec. 22. His shot looked good in that game and the hope is that he continues heading into Christmas. Even if his shot isn’t all the way there, he’s helping his value with the assists. Minutes won’t be an issue and shots are never an issue. Diagnosis: Inconsistent this season, but never lacks opportunities. The hope is that he found his stroke.

Marcus Smart (vs PHI – $5,400): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. This is a Marcus Smart game. Especially now that the Sixers have Jimmy Butler. He’s been good in the starting lineup and finds ways to chip in all categories. He had just 13.1 fantasy points against the Sixers on opening night, but I’m not concerned with that number. This is a different Marcus Smart and a different Philly team. He’s going to step up big as he gets big minutes hounding Jimmy Butler. Diagnosis: A bit inconsistent, but I love the matchup. High ceiling as well.
