FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 25, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Giannis Antetokunmpo (at NY – $11,500): Needs 48 fantasy points. Antetokunmpo was down to 31.1 fantasy points against the Heat on Dec. 22. He scored just nine points in that game. That won’t happen again, especially against the Knicks and their defense. He can’t be feeling good after the Miami performance and will likely be out for blood on Christmas. Diagnosis: He’ll bounce back in a big way given the matchup.
Kevin Durant (vs LAL – $10,400): Needs 43.4 fantasy points. Durant had 67.9 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 23. Durant usually loves going up against LeBron and it’s not like LeBron is going to play the defense to stop him. It’s been the Durant and Curry show for the Warriors in the last few games and I suspect we’ll see the same thing in this one. He should get plenty of points while chipping in with rebounds, assists, and a couple of defensive plays. Diagnosis: Typically a good bet against LeBron. Durant loves these one-on-one matchups with other star players.
Paul George (at HOU – $10,300): Needs 43 fantasy points. As always, you know what you’re getting with George. He’s still red-hot and the Rockets defense, while better, probably won’t have an answer for him. George should have his usual outstanding game where he does a bit of everything. He’s been fantastic during this month and until he shows signs of slowing down, you should continue to trust him in this spot. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling. And with a day off, he should look fresher than he did against the Timberwolves.
