FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 25, 2018
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,667
Draymond Green (vs LAL – $7,300): Needs 31.4 fantasy points. Green looked more like himself against the Clippers, coming up with 43.8 fantasy points. And like a lot of guys who are playing today, he lives for these big matchups. Any opportunity he can get to punk LeBron and the Lakers, he’s going to take. He’s not reliable in any single category, but he does a bit of everything and just finds ways to make an impact. Diagnosis: High ceiling and typically reliable in these big games.
Kyle Kuzma (at GS – $6,800): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. Kuzma was down to 24.2 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Dec. 23. His play had dropped in recent outings and that has me a little concerned heading into Christmas. He was great in the two games against the Warriors last season, averaging 44.5 fantasy points. And we know he fits next to LeBron. The opportunities are going to be there for him, which is the good news. Diagnosis: High ceiling and I’ll say he’s reliable, but I don’t feel great about it.
Jayson Tatum (vs PHI – $6,800): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. Tatum was down to 21.3 fantasy points against the Hornets on Sunday. They didn’t really need him in that game, but he’ll be needed on Christmas against the Sixers. He had been great prior to the Hornets game so expect him to return to that form. He had 40.3 fantasy points against the Sixers on opening night. They’ll need his scoring in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
