High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Kevin Knox (vs MIL – $6,300): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. Knox has delivered as a starter. He’s shown a high ceiling, which is a good sign for his value. He had 40.8 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 1. He’s a rookie so the inconsistencies will be there. But he seems like a guy who will rise to the occasion on Christmas. Diagnosis: High ceiling. Be wariness of “rookiness.”

Marcus Morris (vs PHI – $6,000): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Morris had 20.6 fantasy points against the Hornets on Sunday. He’s been inconsistent as a starter, but he typically does well against this matchup. He had 33 fantasy points against the Sixers on opening night. He’s usually good for points and rebounds. Expect him to at least hit value in this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable.

P.J. Tucker (vs OKC – $5,300): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Tucker has been over 30 fantasy points in two of his last three games. Minutes are never an issue for Tucker and he finds ways to contribute. Even when the shooting isn’t there, he makes up for it with his rebounding and defense. He’ll be needed in a big way in this game with the Thunder stars a threat to go off at any moment. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
