The New York Jets looked to be in control for  most of their game against the Green Bay Packers this past weekend, but let Aaron Rodgers come back and beat them with a stunning fourth quarter performance. That has been the story with this 2018 Jets team, as they have some good young pieces, but cannot put four quarters of football together.

During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Jets selected USC quarterback Sam Darnold with the third overall pick, and you have to believe he is going to be a good one at the NFL level. He has shown he can get the job done in year one, after winning the starting job out of training camp, and has the arm talent to make all the throws.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Jets also have some good, young talent, but could afford to bring in the best linebacker in this draft class at No. 3 overall. Josh Allen from Kentucky is a guy who can not only rack up the tackles from his linebacker spot, but is an elite edge rusher, two areas where the Jets could use some help next season.

It looks like the Jets are in good hands with Darnold as their quarterback, and being so young, he should only get better over the next couple of season. New York could also end up drafting an offensive tackle in the first round, but if Jonah Williams is already gone at No. 3, they may want to bolster the other side of the football.
