DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 26, 2018

High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kawhi Leonard (at MIA – $9,500): Needs 44.1 fantasy points. Lowry returned to the lineup in Toronto’s last game, which Kawhi didn’t play. It will limit his ceiling a big, but also open things up for him more. He had 53 fantasy points against the Heat on Nov. 25. Miami can be a frustrating opponent, which is when a guy like Kawhi steps up and takes over. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Danilo Gallinari (vs SAC – $7,300): Needs 33.9 fantasy points. Gallinari was up to 46.25 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 23. He’s been very reliable this season and shown a high ceiling. His salary has jumped, but it’s not quite high enough. Especially if you’re also looking at Tobias Harris. Both players have been strong this season, but I continue to like Gallinari more. Diagnosis: Very reliable and a good ceiling.

Buddy Hield (at LAC – $7,200): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. Hield has remained hot and unless Christmas cools him off, I’m going to keep rocking with him. Much like Gallinari, his salary has gone up, but not quite enough to scare me away. At least not with the usual production he’s giving you. Until his shooting cools off, keep riding the hot hand. Diagnosis: Red hot, good matchup and ceiling.
