High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Jokic (at SA – $10,300): Needs 46.2 fantasy points. Jokic has been great while Millsap has been out of the lineup, although he was down to 29.7 fantasy points in 21 minutes against the Clippers on Dec. 22. I’m going to assume that he can control his temper a bit better against the Spurs. Until he shows signs of slowing down, I’ll keep rocking with him. He typically plays well against the Spurs. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Andre Drummond (vs WAS – $9,700): Needs 43.5 fantasy points. Drummond is inconsistent because you never know with his scoring. But the rebounds are typically there. And they should be there against the Wizards on Wednesday. They are undersized and Drummond should have no issue getting boards and easy points in the paint. He averaged 1.41 FPPM in four games against Washington last season. Diagnosis: Proven matchup, very high ceiling.

Myles Turner (at ATL – $7,300): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. Turner has been on fire for the Pacers, going over 40 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s turned into a reliable option and now he gets the Hawks on Wednesday. If John Collins isn’t there to bother him, you can expect a big game out of Turner in the rebounding and scoring department. He also comes up with defensive plays. Diagnosis: Great matchup, red hot, and a very high ceiling.
