Players costing over $6,667

Devin Booker (at ORL – $9,100): Needs 38.5 fantasy points. Booker had just 36.9 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 23, but that was the game after the Triple OT and his minutes were down. He’s been great during this recent stretch and I see no reason to doubt him against this matchup. He’ll get his scoring and assists in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup, high ceiling.

Luka Doncic (vs NO – $8,300): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. Even when he’s struggling from the field, Doncic has been delivering. He managed just 19.8 fantasy points in 22 minutes against the Pelicans on Dec. 5, but I won’t hold that against him. He’s on an incredible run and the Pelicans still can’t defend the perimeter well. Doncic will have a big game. Diagnosis: Love the way he’s playing and the matchup is fantastic.

Buddy Hield (at LAC – $6,700): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. Hield has continued his hot stretch, although he is cooling down a bit. The good news is that his salary is also down a bit and the matchup is good on Wednesday. He’s been strong during this month and even those his DFS numbers are down, he’s still shooting hot. The rest of the numbers will pick back up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
